A growing specialist in the installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial and industrial pump systems across NSW. Working across commercial buildings, shopping centres, supermarkets, petrol stations and industrial sites, they provide installation, breakdown and preventative maintenance services across pumps, motors, controls and associated equipment.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Industrial Electrician with previous experience working on pumps to join their small, experienced service team.

Shift Structure & Pay

• Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

• $55 per hour + super

• Straight double time for overtime

• Heaps of overtime available

• Annual earnings circa $120k–$165k + super

The Role

This is a field service position working across commercial and industrial customer sites throughout Sydney and NSW. You will use your existing industrial electrical and pump experience while receiving further training across the mechanical side of pump servicing and repairs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Electrical fault finding across commercial and industrial pump systems

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing pumps and associated equipment

• Fault finding on electric motors, VSDs/VFDs and pump control systems

• Working across control panels, switches and associated electrical components

• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical pump faults

• Breakdown and preventative maintenance

• Installing and replacing pumps, motors and associated equipment

• Workshop-based repairs, servicing and training

• Working autonomously across a variety of customer sites

Requirements

• Trade qualified Electrician with a current NSW Electrical Licence

• Industrial electrical maintenance or field service experience

• Previous hands-on experience working with pumps essential

• Experience fault finding motors, VSDs/VFDs and electrical control systems

• Strong electrical fault-finding capability

• Mechanically minded and interested in developing further pump repair and servicing skills

• Comfortable working autonomously in a field service environment

• Full driver's licence

• Able to pass a police check
