They are expanding their Sydney team to support long-term service contracts and upcoming projects.

- $55 – $60 per hour base
- Rotating shifts (2 weeks days, 2 weeks arvo, 2 weeks nights)
- Afternoon loading - 15% and night loading 30%
- Salary: $125,000 – $136,000 per year + super + overtime
- 1 day weekend overtime per month

The Role
You will be based at the airport, maintaining automated systems, with additional involvement in other upcoming logistics projects.
- Electrical fault finding across automated and PLC-controlled systems (Siemens)
- Working with sensors including photoelectric, proximity and encoders
- Fault finding on motors, VSDs and electrical drive systems
- Diagnosing faults via PLC interface and control systems
- Working on control panels, relays and safety circuits
- Maintaining conveyor and sortation system controls
- Breakdown response, preventative maintenance and electrical upgrades
Requirements
- Trade qualified Cert 3 Electrician
- Experience in industrial or automated environments
- Exposure to PLC systems (fault finding level)
- Customer facing
