MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with an established engineering and manufacturing business to recruit an HSEQ Representative based in Ingleburn.
Supporting factory operations and project sites, you will work closely with internal teams, suppliers and contractors to maintain compliance, strengthen HSEQ processes and drive continuous improvement.
About the role
You will support the implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and applicable statutory and contractual requirements.
This position combines hands-on engagement with manufacturing and project teams, audit coordination, quality assurance and document control.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain HSEQ procedures, registers, records and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, tracking findings through to closeout.
- Monitor compliance with QA/QC and WHS procedures across factory and site operations.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Manufacturer Data Records (MDRs).
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents and non-conformances, supporting corrective and preventive actions.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors and project teams to verify HSEQ compliance.
- Control and issue engineering drawings and documentation.
- Maintain KPI records and prepare compliance reports.
- Support inductions, toolbox talks, training and HSEQ awareness activities.
- Contribute to improvements in safety, quality, efficiency and compliance.
- Visit other sites, suppliers and subcontractor facilities as required.
Requirements
- At least three years’ experience in HSEQ, quality assurance, quality control or document control within manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, construction or heavy industry.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 17025.
- Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external certification audits.
- Sound knowledge of quality systems, inspections, testing, document control and compliance processes.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
Desirable experience
- Internal Auditor qualification.
- Background in engineering, fabrication, mining or heavy industrial environments.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and customer quality requirements.
- Experience managing customer documentation submissions and manufacturing record books.
