A leading food manufacturer operating a large-scale, state-of-the-art production facility in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their on-site engineering team. This site is purpose-built, highly automated and operates to exceptionally high quality, safety and GMP standards within a 24/6 manufacturing operation. The site is supported by a large, well-resourced maintenance team with a genuinely collaborative, down-to-earth culture.

The Role
You’ll be joining a tight-knit maintenance team where people genuinely get along, help each other out and enjoy working together. It’s the kind of site where the team knows each other well, shares knowledge freely, and has a laugh while still getting the job done safely and properly.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Working alongside experienced sparkies and fitters who back each other
- Troubleshooting electrical issues across automated production and packaging lines
- Carrying out planned maintenance and jumping on breakdowns together as a team
- Fault-finding and making basic PLC modifications on Siemens and Allen-Bradley systems
- Supporting small improvements and ideas that make everyone’s job easier
- Operating in a clean, structured, GMP-focused environment where standards are clear
Requirements
- NSW Electrical Licence
- Experience in food or high-speed manufacturing environments
- Fault-finding experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Comfortable making minor PLC changes
