A leading food manufacturer operating a large-scale, state-of-the-art production facility in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their on-site engineering team. This site is purpose-built, highly automated and operates to exceptionally high quality, safety and GMP standards within a 24/6 manufacturing operation. The site is supported by a large, well-resourced maintenance team with a genuinely collaborative, down-to-earth culture.
We are looking for either an experienced supervisor, or somebody who has lead electrician experience.

The Role
You’ll be joining a tight-knit maintenance team where people genuinely get along, help each other out and enjoy working together. It’s the kind of site where the team knows each other well, shares knowledge freely, and has a laugh while still getting the job done safely and properly.
Day to day, you’ll be:
• Lead and coordinate the electrical team to minimise downtime and maintain safe, reliable operation of production lines
• Hands-on fault finding and maintenance of PLCs, VSDs, HMIs, motors, sensors and control systems
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance and CMMS activities in line with production schedules
• Supervise contractors, manage isolations/LOTO and ensure compliance with WHS, GMP and food safety standards
• Drive continuous improvement, root cause analysis and development of apprentices and junior trades
Requirements
• NSW Electrical Licence
• Experience in food or high-speed manufacturing environments
• Fault-finding experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Comfortable making minor PLC changes
