The Role
The role will be responsible for designing automated test systems used to diagnosed complex faults in manufactured equipment both in the field and within their state of the art test facility. The candidate will work across mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and PLC driven architectures. Duties will include:
- Design and develop test systems, fixtures, and mechanisms to support design verification, validation, and manufacturing quality-gate testing.
- Create detailed CAD designs, assemblies, drawings, and documentation to support fabrication, assembly, and commissioning.
- Provide technical support to production and operations teams for new manufacturing processes and diagnostic test systems.
- Develop test plans for mechanisms and assemblies across development, qualification, and acceptance stages.
The Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a medical device/pharma environment
- Validation & verification experience
- Previous experience taking mechanical design from concept stage to manufacturing in a GMP environment
- Strong SolidWorks skills
