The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a busy site that operates close to 24/7 production.
This role is currently Monday–Friday AM shift, with a planned transition to Sunday–Thursday in the coming months as site operations continue to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative, planned and reactive maintenance across multiple production lines
- Breakdown response to minimise downtime in a high-output FMCG environment
- Working on automated and specialised machinery (including Japanese-built equipment)
- TIG welding, basic machining and lathe work as required
- Supporting sanitation, cleanliness and food safety standards
- Working closely with production and operations teams
- Contributing to a small, collaborative maintenance team where reliability and accountability matter

Requirements
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Strong FMCG background, ideally food/beverages
- Confident with TIG welding and lathe work
