Shift Structure & Pay
- Rotating shifts (2 weeks days, 2 weeks afternoons, 2 weeks nights)
- $50.00 per hour base rate + 15% afternoon shift loading & 30% night shift loading
- GUARANTEED OVERTIME
- Base salary (40hrs): $119k + super
- Salary with weekday OT (50hrs): $163k + super
- Salary with additional alternating weekend OT: $191k + super
The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and fault finding on sophisticated automated material handling and robotic systems
Your responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical fault finding and breakdown response across conveyor systems
- Preventative maintenance on motors, gearboxes, chains, bearings and mechanical drive components
- Belt tracking, alignment and replacement on conveyor systems
- Maintenance of hydraulic systems and lifting equipment
- Supporting automated parking systems including lifts, hoists and transfer mechanisms
- Assisting with upgrades, installs and improvements on both legacy and new equipment
- You’ll also gain exposure to electrical systems, working closely alongside controls and electrical teams as part of a broader automation environment.
Requirements
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Experience with conveyors, motors and mechanical systems
- Exposure to hydraulics highly regarded
