The Role
Reporting to the operations manager you will be responsible for running a busy afternoon shift ensuring volume, quality and delivery targets are all exceeded whilst driving a ‘safety first’ approach throughout the shift. Main duties will include:
- Lead and supervise team with a hands-on approach ensuring all targets are met
- Coordinate workflow and labour allocation to meet all production schedules
- Monitoring KPI relating to Production, quality and efficiency
- Driving WHS culture through the team
The Candidate
- Previous experience managing a production team within a heavy manufacturing, metal processing, building materials or other relevant manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of safety within manufacturing
- Experience of coaching, mentoring and developing team members
- Good IT skills ideally ERP or WMS knowledge
