The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with strong Public Utility Plant (PUPs) / utilities experience to join a growing transport infrastructure team delivering major projects across Queensland. You’ll be responsible for the identification, coordination and management of utilities impacted by major road, rail and public transport projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading utility investigations, coordination, protection and relocation activities
  • Managing relationships with utility authorities, councils, contractors and clients
  • Developing practical solutions to complex utility constraints
  • Identifying and managing utility-related risks and project opportunities
  • Reviewing technical reports, strategies and project deliverables
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
  • Supporting proposals, tenders and client development
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical leadership

The Requirements
  • A Civil Engineering degree or related qualification
  • Strong experience in PUPs, utilities coordination or utility relocation
  • Experience working on major transport, road, rail or infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of Queensland utility authorities and approval processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A supportive, collaborative team environment
