Company: A growing specialist in the installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial and industrial pump systems across NSW. Working across commercial buildings, shopping centres, supermarkets, petrol stations and industrial sites, they provide installation, breakdown and preventative maintenance services across pumps, motors, controls and associated equipment.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Service Technician with a Mechanical Fitting background, Disconnect/Reconnect and previous pump experience to join their small, experienced service team.

The Role:
This is a hands-on field service position with a strong mechanical focus, working across commercial and industrial pump systems throughout Sydney and NSW.
You'll primarily be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of pumps and associated equipment, while using your Disconnect/Reconnect capabilities to complete electrical work associated with motors and pump systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, repairing and rebuilding commercial and industrial pumps
- Fault finding across pumps, motors and associated equipment
- Removal, installation and replacement of pumps and electric motors
- Working on bearings, seals, shafts, couplings and other mechanical components
- Breakdown and preventative maintenance
- Disconnecting and reconnecting motors and associated equipment
- Basic electrical fault finding across motors and pump systems
- Exposure to VSDs/VFDs, control panels and switches
- Working autonomously across a variety of customer sites
Requirements
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner or similar
- Disconnect/Reconnect licence or qualification
- Previous hands-on experience servicing, repairing or maintaining pumps
- Comfortable working autonomously in a field service environment
- Full driver's licence
- Able to pass a police check
