You’ll be part of a dedicated installation team delivering rooftop solar systems across residential and commercial projects throughout Sydney.
This is a hands-on role where teamwork, safety and quality matters but it also offers the income stability many roofers don’t get in traditional contracting environments.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:
- Installing mounting systems, frames and solar panels on tile and metal roofs
- Carrying out safe penetrations, flashing and sealing to maintain roof integrity
- Supporting electricians with cable routing and installation works
- Working collaboratively with installation crews to complete projects efficiently
- Following safe work procedures and installation best practices
Requirements
- Experience working on roofs (solar, roofing, HVAC, telecoms or similar)
- Comfortable working at heights and using harness systems
- Working at Heights ticket and White Card
- Confident using power tools and installing fixings/frames
- Driver’s licence and ability to travel to sites across Sydney
